I'm Megan, Student Pastor's wife, Mom to a hilarious little boy and writer of this little blog.  Most of the time you can find me laughing, exploring and enjoying life with Justin & Silas... or hanging out, learning and growing in Christ with a bunch of awesome teenagers and college students.  We choose to do life with our students and our church family and its made for a very full (I don't like the word busy), amazing, challenging and exciting life for our family.  We love Jesus and people so Ministry was just the best fit for us (we actually didn't start our lives together this way, but that's another story) and we've been on this journey for the last 10 years.  We've learned a lot over the past ten years while serving in the church like how important family is, how important church is and how important it is to be open to change in all aspects of your life.  God is constantly molding us. We are not even close to perfect and good deeds really get us nowhere - but letting go of those two ideas, embracing the idea of obedience and running after Christ (the one and only perfect and good God) is where we are at.

This blog is really just a big conglomeration of little chunks of our life.
I love all things creative, old houses (the more character the better), painting stuff, decorating, making things, creating fun spaces, shopping (let's be real) Oh, and I love a good gathering!

If you are looking for a perfect house to gaze out, our house does not fall under that title and you may not like it here.  If you are looking for how to make the best of what you have, working with your small spaces, enjoy crafting on a whim or embracing the imperfections that make your home beautiful, then you have found a good place to visit!

I would love to connect with you!  If you are here I would love to know,  so just leave me a comment and I would love to respond.  Instagram is my new favorite thing, plus twitter and pinterest are pretty fun.  I have a little Facebook page you can check out as well.  Social Media is pretty much a teenagers love language so we are using it often!
